Ramin Safa
I am a Data Scientist and researcher with a PhD in Computer Engineering, currently working at the National Innovation Centre for Data, Newcastle University, UK.
I am especially interested in human-centred and responsible AI. My research background includes scientific recommender systems, social data analysis and digital mental health. Over time, my work has evolved from academic research towards innovation and industry-facing data projects. In my current role, I work across applied AI, natural language processing and LLM-based systems, helping organisations turn complex and unstructured information into useful insights that support better decision-making.
